Urgent:Despite the verification of my VAT number and confirmation of VAT payment, my account remains deactivated.
I am a seller based outside of the UK but with a UK-based director. On July 19, 2024, I was asked to provide proof of my VAT exemption again. Despite submitting all the required documents for my director, my account was deactivated. In order to resolve the issue, I obtained a VAT number from HMRC, and despite my account being deactivated, I paid the VAT amount requested by Amazon. I have since received emails confirming that I no longer have any outstanding VAT liabilities for past sales.
My VAT number was verified by Amazon, and I submitted the necessary documents. However, my account is still deactivated. I was informed that the issue was related to VAT, and my account was suspended for this reason, yet despite resolving all the issues, I have consistently received negative responses to my appeals.
I am uncertain about what I might be missing or what the exact problem is, as I have not been able to receive clear information from any Amazon representative. My account has been suspended for six months, and it should have been reinstated upon VAT number verification on November 28.
At this point, I am unable to understand what the current issue is or why my account has not been reactivated. I am reaching out in hopes of receiving guidance or assistance on how to proceed.
Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
