Account Suspended linked to another account
I received this email from Amazon, stating that my account is linked to another account. I know the other account and I was employed by that company at that time. Now I created my own account and they suspended it.
The mistake I made was that I used the cell phone number of that account and I also used my laptop to log into that company account. I provide them with a term letter, last paystubs, POA, and other documents. They still denied it. They won't even tell me what documents to provide or what's still linked to that account.
They keep sending me the same reply every time. You have been found to be related to an account beginning with xxxxxxxx. We received your submission but do not have enough information to reactivate your account at this time.
To reactivate your account, please provide evidence that you once owned the account or had account rights but no longer own it or no longer have account rights by providing supporting documentation. This includes but is not limited to sales deed, purchase agreement, business transfer agreement, or contract termination.
I sent them multiple appeals along with all the documents and POA, explaining what info was still shared on both accounts and how I discovered it. I removed all my personal information and triple-checked every single setting to make sure my personal info is not there. I even removed some info like my cell phone number which was shared on both accounts. I change the number on my account. I had full access to their account.
The owner doesn't have access to my account. There is no shared financial info between the two accounts. No third party had access to both accounts, when I created my personal Amazon account, they suspended it the next day. I sent them a POA explaining that I don't own that other account and removed all my personal info but they still won't accept it. They keep sending me the same reply every time.
Can you please escalate this to a higher department, I will provide them with whatever documents they want to prove that I don't own the other account.
Thank you!

What they want is proof that you are no longer associated with the owner of the first account. That is a easy to proof as sending them your final pay stub, You can't just change/remove info from either account to make this go away, you have to PROOF you didn't have any financial interest/ownership in the first account

Hi @Seller_OXYRGmKNz2D0T,
Yokie from Amazon here to assist with your question.
I received this email from Amazon, stating that my account is linked to another account. I know the other account and I was employed by that company at that time. Now I created my own account and they suspended it.

My recommendation is to take one more look into your account to make sure you are not connected to the other seller in an area you might have overlooked.
You want to consider any numbers, addresses, accounts or cards that were used previously and have since been removed.
Once you can identify what information the accounts have in common, you must submit an appeal and provide details regarding the relation. Supporting documentation may include a potential managing agency name, a potential managing agency website, a potential managing agency email, and/or phone.
If you determine no relation to the related account, you will need to provide evidence demonstrating why the accounts are not directly related. This is not an exhaustive list of things to consider, but I recommend providing as much information as possible.
Please feel free to contact us here in seller forums if you have more questions or concerns.
Best regards,
Yokie

Yessss, this is happening to me also! I signed up before I had products to sell, and they deactivated that first account for whatever reason. So I created a new one thinking the first one was gone. Now I'm getting the same response, the same email that doesn't tell me what they need, just like your issue!! I'm so frustrated. And there is no phone number to get live help. I explain the issue through email and receive the same robot response.
