Dear Amazon Seller Support Team,
I am writing to express my extreme frustration and concern regarding repeated incorrect deductions for weight handling charges on my orders. This is not an isolated incident, and despite previously filing clawback forms, the issue continues to occur.
Today, 29 April 2025, I have again been charged ₹2300 for weight handling charges.for an order where the system indicates a weight of 501 gm. This is despite the fact that the actual weight of my product is consistently around 100 gm.
I have encountered this issue multiple times. Previously, I filed a clawback form and even, as requested, took over 700 photographs as evidence. Now, with approximately 100 ASINs, I am facing the unreasonable expectation of taking another 800 photographs due to continued discrepancies.
It is illogical and unacceptable that a product consistently weighing 100 gm is repeatedly recorded with a weight of 501 gm by your system. This clearly indicates a significant and recurring error in the weight measurement process, likely on the part of your designated courier partner.
We, as sellers, should not be penalized financially and burdened with excessive administrative work due to the mistakes of your logistics partners. This is impacting our profitability and wasting valuable time that could be spent on other aspects of our business.
I request immediate action to:
Investigate the root cause of these repeated weight discrepancies. It is imperative that you address the errors within your courier partner's handling and measurement processes.
Immediately reverse the incorrect deduction of ₹2300 applied today.
Implement a permanent solution to prevent these incorrect weight charges from recurring.
Reimburse all previous incorrect deductions related to these weight discrepancies, including the pending ₹7800 claim.
Reconsider the unreasonable requirement for sellers to provide hundreds of photographs as proof for systemic issues. This burden should fall on the party responsible for the error. Additionally, please clarify the image quality requirements, as using a current-model smartphone should be sufficient.
I urge you to take this matter seriously and take decisive action to resolve this ongoing problem. We should not have to bear the consequences of errors made by your logistics partners. If necessary, I request that someone from Amazon investigate this issue thoroughly, including a review of the weight recording processes at the relevant shipping facilities.
I look forward to your prompt response and a resolution to this issue.
