I recently had one of my ASIN's flagged and removed from Amazon because of a "Product and Food Safety" Violation. I have not received any notification from Amazon as to what the safety violation.

The account health page doesn't display what the exact problem is other than that its a "Product and Food Safety" violation and the seller support rep refuses to tell what the exact problem is and I'll I receive is the same copy and paste response from the same rep.

Our product was previously approved for the applicable compliance requests

Can I please have a MOD take a look at my case 17787531071 help me get a response from seller support that tells me exactly what the safety concern is and what information I need to provide such as the specific manufacturer testing documents and any other supporting documentation to get this issue resolved?

Hi @Seller_8hQgfj6OVZYse

I got a 1 star review a few months ago. I have ever asked for help, but did not get a helpful answer.

Could you help me address it please?

The story is that a buyer sent a message to me requesting refund without return the product, or he/she will leave a 1 star review both on my listing and seller profile. I tried to understand the problem and offer help, but the buyer didnt show the detail, and persist in requesting a refound without return. I refused this requirement, and suggested he follow Amazon rule return the product then he/she will get the refound. At last the buyer left the 1 star review.

The vedio of review is not showing the problem, but vicious. The words of the review most about the product, and the part of service is untrue.

Asin: B0CZ13VWDF

Order: 112-7395815-1510609

Case: 15411538091/ 15461394061/ 15422009791

Any more informations need please let me know, thanks!

Kind regard!

Hi everyone,

We’re facing a frustrating situation and hoping someone here has encountered a similar issue and found a way to resolve it.

Amazon recently removed 270 of our ASINs due to “Product Detail Page Tampering.” These ASINs are for a bundle we launched under our brand four years ago, consisting of multiple items from two different brands—one from a well-known big brand and the other from our own brand. Our listing had never encountered any issues until Amazon recently updated its Product Bundling Policy.

When we contacted Account Health Specialist try to appeal, we were told our appeal was rejected because the brand name should have been the big brand, as it contributes the most expensive components to the bundle. According to Amazon, this misleads customers into thinking all items in the bundle belong to our brand. So what we need to do we should update the whole listing to reflect the big brand including the brand name to reflect that. Then we can submit the appeal again.

We updated the listing however, the brand name is locked and we cannot update. By the way, we are totally authorized by the big brand to modify this listing. We have an ongoing licensing agreement with this big brand. We have already signed a fully executed contract allowing us to sell their items on Amazon.

Because of the brand name is not updated, every time we submit an appeal to reinstate, we get rejected.

We are now stuck in a difficult situation:

There’s no way to update the brand name on the listing.

Thousands of units are trapped in FBA.

Removing the inventory from Amazon’s warehouse would be extremely costly.

Has anyone else dealt with a similar issue? Were you able to reinstate your listing or find a way to update the brand name?

@Michelle_Amazon @Manny_Amazon @April_Amazon – Could you please review this and provide guidance?

Any insights or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

LOA for a pending trademark
by Seller_C5AB8xWOVxurd
Amazon replied

Received Suspected Intellectual Property Violations (for "45 - 47" serial number 99090539). I am being told I need a Letter of Authorization.

LOA can only be given by whomever owns the trademark.

If a trademark is pending, it is not owned.

How does one get an LOA from someone that does not yet (and may never) own the rights?

Dear Amazon Team,

I’ve been selling on Amazon since 2013 — more than 13 years of serving customers with care, integrity, and pride.

I’ve never had a serious policy violation. I’ve never scammed, manipulated, or cheated. I’ve built my small business here with love. I’ve responded to every customer. I’ve fulfilled every order. I’ve earned 1,867 feedbacks, with 89% positive.

Now, I’ve been shut out of the business I built for what Amazon calls a “Code of Conduct” violation — something I never intended and acted immediately to correct.

What happened?

I listed USPS stamps I purchased from Costco. I packaged them in a jewelry box with my brand name. At the time, I genuinely believed this was allowed — it was done to make a giftable bundle, not to deceive anyone. I had no idea that this would fall under “brand abuse.”

When Amazon updated its bundling and branding policies in October 2024, I immediately deleted every listing before the change even took effect.

My last order was fulfilled on October 3, 2024. I removed everything. I didn’t argue. I didn’t fight. I just did what I thought was right.

But after all this — even after deleting everything, changing direction, submitting a new trademark, showing all receipts and history — I keep getting the same cold copy-paste response:

"We don’t have enough information.”

I gave everything.

I wrote a detailed Plan of Action.

I submitted Costco receipts, photos of packaging, my 13-year account history, proof of deleted listings, proof of new product line that is 100% compliant.

And still — nothing. No human words. No recognition that this isn’t just a store. It’s my life.

Please Help Me to Get a Chance

I’m not a bad actor. I’m not trying to game the system. I’ve done everything Amazon asked. I’ve been here since 2013. I’ve put my heart into this store. And now I’m being treated like I don’t deserve to be here anymore.

I’m begging — not as a business, but as a person — please, someone at Amazon, look at my case. Just once. Like a person would. Please read my appeal. Please read my history. Please understand that I made a mistake, corrected it, and now I want to move forward the right way.

All I want is for someone to see me — not as a seller ID — but as a person who gave 13 years to this platform with honesty and respect.

If anyone on the forum knows how to escalate this for a human review, please help. I’ve tried everything. I’ve followed every rule. I’ve submitted every document.

I just want a chance to keep doing what I’ve always done — serve customers honestly on Amazon.

Thank you for reading. I really, really hope someone listens.

On behalf of our client, we are representing a 12+ year Amazon seller, generating over 30MM + YoY, who has become the repeated target of a malicious competitor exploiting Amazon’s enforcement tools — specifically false IP and condition complaints — to suppress our listings and disrupt our business.

We adapt lawfully sourced paperbacks into spiral-bound editions, always disclosing format differences. We do not claim authorship or IP ownership. Our products are compliant, clearly described, and backed by verified supply chains.

A Pattern of Abuse with Real Consequences:

This is not a one-off. It’s an ongoing campaign of false reporting, and it’s already caused us irreparable damage:

• In Q4 of last year, our account was shut down due to these same false IP complaints.

• That closure led to 6MM in lost revenue during peak season and forced us to furlough [X] employees.

• After weeks of fighting, Amazon ultimately reviewed and overturned those violations — confirming they were baseless.

• Now, we are again being targeted. A counterfeit complaint (ID: 17850069691) was filed and later overturned, and most recently, we received a sweeping Unsuitable Inventory Investigations violation on June 16, 2025, freezing dozens of ASINs and blocking FBA removals.

This is a clear, repeated abuse of Amazon’s reporting systems — and each time, we’re the ones paying the price, while the bad actor continues unchecked.

Why This Matters for Amazon, Too:

• Platform integrity is at risk: Enforcement tools are being weaponized.

• Seller trust is eroding: Honest businesses are punished before facts are verified.

• Customer experience suffers: Listings are artificially removed or suppressed, reducing selection and inflating prices.

We’ve even filed a federal lawsuit (Case No. 4:25-cv-00092, U.S. District Court – EDNC) to formally address this abusive behavior — the very same conduct now triggering Amazon enforcement cycles again.

Our Request:

We respectfully urge Amazon leadership to escalate this issue for internal legal and enforcement review. This is no longer just about our account — it's part of a broader platform integrity crisis.

Bad actors are repeatedly abusing IP enforcement tools to take down competitor listings, freeze FBA inventory, and disrupt livelihoods — all through knowingly false claims that are later overturned. But by the time Amazon resolves these issues, the damage is already done.

3rd-party sellers cannot continue to operate under a system where accusations are actioned before facts are verified. Honest businesses are being penalized while manipulators exploit the very tools meant to protect brands and customers.

This isn’t an isolated case. It’s a warning sign — and if left unchecked, it threatens trust in Amazon’s entire 3P marketplace model.

• Current Violation: Unsuitable Inventory – Issued June 16, 2025

• Previous Complaint (Overturned): Complaint ID 17850069691

• Ongoing Legal Action: Case No. 4:25-cv-00092 (U.S. District Court – Eastern District of North Carolina)

We are standing by to cooperate and provide further documentation. We ask for guidance from Amazon’s legal and enforcement teams to help stop this escalating abuse — not just for us, but for the health of the seller community and the trust of Amazon customers.

Thank you.

Please recommend an expert who could check if our products (ingredients and packaging design) for the Pet Care (Health) categories, including Pet Supplements comply with all regulations.

We have created listings and are planning to produce these products, we would like to get more confidence that these products will not be blocked at some point.

Hey sellers!

With Prime Day approaching, signature confirmation helps protect both sellers and buyers on high-value orders, but it can create friction if not communicated effectively. Getting this right can prevent frustration and reduce cancellations. You should also know that your seller performance metrics will not be impacted by 'item not received' A-to-Z claims when signature confirmation is used. However, you must use Amazon's Buy Shipping Services to be claims protected. Third-party shipping labels, even with signature confirmation, don't provide the same protection!

Best Practices:

📋 Pre-Sale Communication

  • Add a note about potential signature requirements for high-value orders
  • Include information in your shipping policies
  • Set clear expectations upfront

🚚 When Using Signature Confirmation

  • Inform customers promptly after purchase
  • Keep order tracking information accurate and up-to-date
  • Explain why it's required (order value protection)

Provide alternative delivery options:

  1. UPS Access Points
  2. Authorized release
  3. Evening/weekend delivery where available

💬 Customer Communication Template

"For your order protection, signature confirmation is required for deliveries over [amount]. Here are convenient options for receiving your package: [list options]"

Be sure to respond to customer messages within 48 hours

Share Your Experience:

How do you communicate signature requirements?

What solutions work best for your customers?

Any tips for preventing cancellations?

Question about FBA shipments
by Seller_POSg0RR4whV2u

I currently have 40 boxes, each containing 9 units, of ASIN B0F7PGGJGH (25oz grill degreaser) stored at a 3PL warehouse in Laredo, Texas. I need to send it for storage and management via FBA, but I want to sell it under multiple ASINs (for 1, 2, 3, and 4-piece variants). My questions are:

1. Is it possible for Amazon to receive the 9-piece boxes and internally fulfill the 1, 2, 3, and 4-piece variants? If so, how can I calculate the operational costs related to repackaging?

2. If the above is possible, I currently have boxes designed for 1 and 2 units, and others for 3 and 4 units, which do not have barcodes printed on the exterior. Could Amazon receive and use these boxes for repackaging, or do they use their own Amazon-branded boxes?
