A little help please
In order to get sales figures out of Amazon we used to go to Payments > All Transactions, set the date range and simply copy the table in to Excel.
Amazon have changed the way the page looks recently and now the table doesn’t paste into Excel correctly.
There’s an option to download but it’s putting each transaction aspect on a separate line, i.e one line for sold price, one for fees, one for postage, etc.
It used to take 30 minutes to do 3 months worth of transactions and now I can’t see a way to do it all.
How do you get your sales data out of Amazon in order to work out figures for income, fees, etc please?

I really don’t get why you can’t copy and paste the transactions page. The format may have changed slightly on it, so you probably just need to amend your spreadsheet.
It works fine for me.
To add to that, you can generate a summary or transaction report as well.
Just go to payments/date range reports.

Discussed here and includes a workaround.

Thanks for the replies @NEil , managed to do it from the download, bit of messing about but will no doubt be easier in the future once I get used to it.
Thanks also @Anglozone, only issue with that is " If your dates are in numeric format, ie 5/11/21, then you’d need to do a different type of find & replace to put the line breaks back in their correct locations." and of course the dates on the Transaction View are numeric.

Hi
After you downloaded the transaction data onto Excel. You can use Pivot table in Excel to get whatever information you want.

Depending on your Seller Central account type - can’t you request a Date Range Report ?

The Transaction Report will come out in Excel. The Summary Report will come out in PDF

If you download it as save it as a PDF it comes out looking the way it used to do.

I have just been struggling with this too today. After a bit of playing around, I found that if I copy directly from the transaction view page (like I always used to) and paste it into a TextEdit file first and then copy this from the TextEdit file (without making any changes) into Excel, it now works perfectly. I use a Mac if that makes any difference.
