Account not blocked , but is

so my account looks like its all in good standing order, i have been getting a lot of sales through. But then my pending balance has all jumped into unavailable balance, and when i go into check reason, it states that Your seller account has been suspended or blocked. A message has been sent to your [Performance Notifications) with more information. - but there is nothing in my Performance Notifications except from 18th October when they asked for my German Tax Cert again. So i am very confused as this is ALL my market places. Also i wont be using nor selling in Germany and only every made one sale of 7 euros on the 30th september. And wont be using this.

I would appreciate as much help as possible as SS are no use, Ive emailed seller-performance numerous times and not had an answer from them. its just stressing me out as i am getting sales through but its getting swallowed by my unavailable

i had same problem lasted for 2 weeks couldnt get a reply from SS ,i think it was because for some reason my account was changed to a normal buyers account then changed back at a charge of £25 then i had to wait 2 weeks to take any disbursments.

It sounds like your Amazon Germany marketplace could be blocked due to a failure to provide them your German Tax Certificate.

Please note that the following non-exhaustive list of transactions are subject to German VAT and trigger a tax registration obligation in Germany:

  1. You store inventory and fulfil from Germany.

  2. You ship goods to German customers from another EU country where your inventory is stored and your total sales to German customers exceeds €100,000 per year across all sales channels.

  3. You ship goods to German customers from a non-EU country and you (or the carrier on your behalf) are the importer of record.

my account is not blocked though…i am still getting sales left right and centre. ive been told so many different reasons to why my unanavailble balance is showing…

  • my bank card is wrong
  • submit german tax cert
  • payments team have put a hold
  • all my items were sent less than 21 days ago

this all does not make sense what so ever…i am no longer registered for PAN-EU…i only sell to UK customers, i never have inventory sent to any other market place and i have no notifications anywhere.

HI 2020 Stationery - I’m in exactly the same boat. The account isn’t blocked/suspended but is showing as unavailable.

I’m running down my Amazon stock, so i believe it is due to a velocity issue. I too haven’t sent the German Tax cert in or registered (having sold a lot in Germany in 2018) - but this isn’t the issue for the suspension or block according to SS.

I was also told I would receive a notification - but didn’t (either by email or in the amazon system).

Have you sold a lot more recently or have your sales slowed down a lot?

Luckily for me, the balance is fairly low as I’m on the dregs of my stock held at FBA. I can imaging if you are still trading as normal it is becoming a bit of a pain.

I have the same issue. Amazon just won’t reply to me. I have now just accepted that my Amazon account is useless and I put all my efforts into selling on our own website.

I suggest you don’t don’t waste more time on this it sounds like a real problem, write direct to Christopher North managingdirector@amazon.co.uk

Hope this helps

@Bigvern Yeah this is exactly what is happening to me then, that will answer it all…as on the 28th i downgraded and upgraded on the same day…SS couldn’t even tell me this, but i know it takes a forum to see if anyone else is having the same issue as my account shows in full standing order and even SS see that. I did email the MD yesterday with two queries and his assistant got back to me this morning telling me there is a technical error and that he is looking into my other problem

@Crystalcloudco1 - well it looks like this is the issue for me…i did make a lot of sales…but the bad thing is now i had 75 other products in a fulfilment centre and now stupidly done a removal order for them as i didnt want any more funds going to unavailable, we live and learn but i wish that i was just told by SS a lot sooner rather than a helpful person on a forum telling me their same situation

thanks guys this has put me at ease
