Anyone beat this?
We’ve just had a refund processed for an order that was sent out using the FBA programme over two and a half years ago. The reason being that the product was not as described.
Anyone beat this…two and a half years on and we still get stung with the refund…???

We can’t beat it, we don’t use FBA for a multitude of reasons - this is one of them. Move away.

I had a customer in Brazil claim an INR after 3 years - not quite the same thing as you posted about - but makes you wonder how some people view the passage of time!

Does the product have a lifetime guarantee ? if so perhaps it now doesn’t function properly.

I contacted Amazon as a customer myself a week ago. I had an electrical product I purchased off them in March this year. I had a really simple question. Hi. I purchased this in March 2021. It’s gone faulty and I would like to get it repaired please as the same item is no longer made. Could you please provide me with details of how to get it fixed? There response was have you tried turning it on/off etc… This was followed up by “And this happened when you first turned it on”… as in the first time I used the product. I replied no… it happened today and I want to get it repaired. There response was there’s no warranty/repair on the product and as it broke on “the first time I used it” they would refund it. I advised them again no it only broke today and under UK law the product has a 12 month warranty and can I arrange or have details to arrange for it to be repaired. They then suggested I buy another model which was not what I wanted before advising me again that they don’t do repairs/warranty’s and as it broke “today for first time use” - Which I repeated it didn’t… then they want to give me a free return label and offer a full refund… So I had to take the refund! They were so quick to offer a refund… no attempt to fix the item or offer information on getting it fixed… and repeated several times that it broke the first time I used it despite me buying it in March and advising them it developed a fault just that day.
