Ba and cc info getting delelted due to unauthorized access
I hope nobody has had this experience but few days ago I changed some notification email settings to a new email account. within 24 hours i received an email saying my account may have been accessed without authorization. So I did a pw reset and my listings were offline and my ba and cc info was removed. I updated everything and activated listings and within literally 4 hours it happened again. So now this is my 4th time trying to get my account back to normal and within hours everything gets deleted and listings go offline. Been about 24 hours and no update from support yet. Just wondering if anyone had this problem before and how to deal with it?

Changing an email address always triggers re-verification as its a vital part of your personal identity.
Hindsight, I know, but you would have been better to have informed Amazon what you were going to do before just changing it

Hello,
Yes I opened a case and no reply for about 24 hours. It really is strange since I went through all the security steps, even enabled voice OTP , authentication app, and everything I input is exactly same , only change was secondary email notification. Now it is being elevated to some other team. Thank you.

Ok lessons learned the hard way. I thought we had 2 step authentication so we can change settings on our own. If anyone out there can learn from this stupid mistake. Before you make any change always let them know.
