Barcode query when adding to inventory

I have tried to list some new items but when I enter the barcode which is printed on the back of the item it brings up a different product. How do I get my item listed when it is automatically being linked to this other similar product? Many thanks

Assuming that the barcode you are using is registered with GS1. Which it should be.
Then you will need to contact amazon, to get the existing listing changed.
