BEWARE - Amazon require signature on delivery to prove delivery

Amazon have dismissed our evidence that a parcel was delivered and upheld an A-to-z claim on the basis

‘In this case, the customer claimed an issue with delivery and the tracking information you provided did not have signature confirming delivery.’

We appealed the initial decision as below, which we consider to be conclusive evidence of delivery. The implication of this decision is whatever evidence is provided of delivery any A-to-z claim will be upheld. Even if a delivery signature is presented, as the customer can state it is not their signature, they will be refunded.

The parcel was delivered by Royal Mail on time
Tracking number: (removed)
Your item was delivered on 06-04-2023. Service used: Royal Mail Tracked 48™
You can check the tracking details on the Royal Mail site
https://www.royalmail.com/track-your-item#/tracking-results/(removed) which also has a photograph showing the open door and delivery being made.
Please immediately reverse your decision to grant the A-to-z claim, return the £25.01 to our account and remove the order from our Order Defect Rate.
You can compare the door where the delivery was made, (removed), with google maps to confirm the delivery was made to the correct address https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/(removed)
