Buyer admits part of address missing when he ordered
hi,
i had a buyer who`s order which is possibly lost. the order was sent by us to large company with many employees.
however, the buyer has informed me he missed part of the address on the original order details.
as its a large place there is a chance there are 2 or more employees who share the same name, the job title was missed and the dept
s name too.
i offered to send again, but i am concerned the order might do to the wrong person unless the address is corrected.
thus should i send again to the same original details and risk the possible new replacement order going to the wrong dept. or person.

It sounds like he is scamming you to be honest.
Taking the fact it is a large organisation and there maybe someone else who shares the same name. If this is the case why doesn’t he check the internal phone book, staff list etc to check whether there is someone with the same name. If there is someone with the same name he would surely pick the phone up or send an email to his namesake to find out if they had a parcel delivered by mistake.
I personally wouldn’t send it again and if there was tracking I wouldn’t refund. If there is no tracking you may want to consider refunding or alternatively letting it go to an A-Z…he may not raise an A-Z if he is a scammer. Obviously it depends on whether your metrics can take an A-Z.

No, do not send it again.
I agree, sounds like trying to scam you.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the delivery name and address is correct, not yours, and I would be telling him that. It is an Amazon policy that you must send to the name and address supplied by the customer…
