Customer Return Reason and Return label cost

Have you checked that the value of the label wasn’t deducted from the refund (I’ve assumed that refund at first scan has taken place).
This is what is supposed to happen, so if the item was £10 and the return label cost was £3, the refund to the customer should be £7 for accidental order.

But also check you were also not charged for the return label too. You should not have been but it may be worth checking.

Yes, took me a while to find it but basically you have to meet Amazons Return Policy.
In Clothes, Handbags, Jewellery and Watches, that is free returns

Do we get charged for return label even if customer does not use it? We are getting lots of returns where customer only put 1 item then return a the whole order and amazon refunds 1 item on first scan and customer opens more return request with return label costs when we already have the items.

Sorry I cant help with your query but something in your post caught my eye.
How can a seller possibly be responsible for return postage for an “unauthorised purchase” ? It seems incredibly unfair.

We did a T-Claim for the first time last week to get a label refund back, however, I did point out to the mod on the forum that I was annoyed to see that the label refund wasn’t coming off the customers order total. Amazon refunded the customer at first scan in full where as previously we’d refund the order minus the label cost when we got the item… Now we make a T-CLAIM but the cost is being paid by Amazon and not being taken off the customers refunded amount… which means seller fee’s in a round about way are ending up paying the label cost… I’d already messaged the customer advising them of the £3.35 label cost as the return reason was false… so when the customer doesn’t end up paying for it it’s annoying as they will continue to pick the incorrect return reason…
