FBA items removal and RESTOCK USAGE

Hi,

I will remove some of the FBA items that don’t go well. They haven’t been sold in 6 months.

When I order to remove them, how long does it take to receive them? Most importantly, when my RESTOCK USAGE will be updated so that I can send more FBA items to the warehouse?

Thank you

It can take varying amounts of time to get them back. They quote 30 days max but i know i’ve had some take longer, although i’ve had others come back in 2 days. Depending on the quantity it’s probably better to make lots of smaller orders than one large one - the fees are the same although i think the free promotion is still running currently.

Here’s how Amazon calculate your current usage:

Utilisation counts against your maximum inventory level and helps determine your maximum shipment quantity. Utilisation includes your current inventory at Amazon and all incoming shipments, including your shipments in Working , In Transit and Receiving status. Inventory pending removals and any reserved inventory are not included in the utilisation calculation. To view the utilization number by sort type, go to your restock limits monitor and review your utilisation by storage type.
