Hazmat products and FBA, any point in providing documents?
I have a few products here that I would like to send to FBA but they come out as HAZMAT. As usual, there is no consistency, as one product is fine but its twin in a different colour isn’t, then I have some children scrunchies made of cotton and nylon which are classified as hazmat.
Any point in challenging that? Given the fact the so far all the documents I have sent have been ignored and obviously not read, any point in wasting my time?

Yes, just fill out the Hazmat form, it usually takes around 4 days.

Apparently they really want a full and official MSDS and I have asked the manufacturer to send me one. Luckily it’s made in the UK and has only two ingredients (both natural) and the polyester bag. The funny thing is that its twin variation went in ok with no problems. By looking at the forum I’ve found that other people had the same problem, one variation was fine and the other wasn’t, as by variations I mean different colours. Learned my lesson though, I will enrol products to FBA before making an order.

Hi @The_London_Link,
Have you contacted Seller Support and ask why this difference considering that are same product?
Here is useful information on “Dangerous goods identification” what gives a detailed information on what and why is considered as Hazmat.
As per @Betsy post that is the template to fill out and ask for exception.
You can find it on same link that i shared above.
Regards.
