Help understanding the payments

Hello,

I am trying to understand what Amazon is charging me, please.
I requested a loan of £1,000 on June 22. I repaid mostly on August 22, so the outstanding amount at that date was £347.

-On Sept 22, I stopped trading, and since that time to date, I’ve been paying around £50 each month, which I always assumed was to repay the loan (I paid £900 in total from Sept 22 to August 23)
-However, the loan amount is still the same (£347) in the Amazon leading platform.
-When I look at the statements, it says +£646.56 as the “debt” type of the transaction and -£907.40 on “adjustment.”

Can someone please provide some insight? I called support and opened tickets more than two weeks ago, but the Amazon lending team can’t be contacted by telephone in the meantime, they are still charging me and not sure what to do.

Thank you

Is it definitely the loan not something like VAT services or other things owed or other sites?

I have to admit I’m slightly confused why you’d leave £347 in and pay £900 back before querying it.

When you say ceased trading, were you a sole trader or limited? If you’re a limited (as pre previous threads) did you dissolve the company without paying the loan?

I think in the terms of the loan you also have to keep enough inventory in amazon for them to guarantee the loan against so you may well have been additionally penalised for that.

Are those statement amounts one offs or are you billed for something each month?

I would say all those are VAT fees - circa £110 a month which would be 4 countries roughly, how many did you sign up for?

Ok so tell me if I’ve got this right
Loan taken June 2022
July & August the loan payments came from your disbursements as you were still trading
Sept - July you’ve paid £55 a month for VAT services
Aug - now gone to £110 likely for VAT services

No loan payments since August 2022 and the balance goes up around £4 a month as the interest?

Anything described as ‘other’ is usually VAT services as well

Are there any transactions that aren’t ‘other’ or vat services?

I just checked with Avalara; they told me to speak with Amazon :frowning:
I’ve got their invoice for the service of the VAT in front of me. With a discount applied, I should be paying 17€ per month only so it raises the question of what the hell are charging me :frowning:
To whom do you think I should contact to get an answer, please?
