Help with how to send items in to FBA please

Hi there, hope you can help.

I have items I have bought : 20 individual plastic tool items that have arrived in 2 plastic bags of 10 each.

They sell on amazon in units of 1,2 or 3.

On the back of the plastic bag it has some basic instructions. (Printed on the plastic bag)

  1. Can I sell these individually without instructions? (I will have to rip open the plastic bag)

  2. If I want to sell them individually can I just send it in with the 10 pack or do I have to put every individual piece in a separate poly bag with a label?

  3. Does amazon need the instructions that are on the back of the plastic bag. If so - how best to do this with the given information above?

Hope that makes sense.

Thanks!

you’ll need to send them bundled in whatever quantities you sell them in
so single units will need to be on their own
packs of 2 will need to be bagged in 2s

each pack will require its own set of instructions

Hi,

I’d suggest turning it around and work backwards.

Start with what does your customer need? They need the item to arrive intact, with what they ordered and presumably some idea of how to use the ‘tool’?

Then what do Amazon need? They need items to match to your offers. The items need to be pick ready, packaged as they are sold, in a unit of items that matches your listing. If you sell individually then each item must be individual. If you sell a item of 3 bundled then you need a pack of 3, labelled as a pack of 3.

So 20 loose items cannot be ‘combined’ to match a listing for three. If you wish to do that you’d have to bag or pack them so that you have - say - 5 singles, 3 triples and 3 doubles. Each have to be labelled to match the ASIN offer you create.

Do I assume that you are a new seller to FBA ? - apologies if you’re not.

If you are, then I suggest you read Amazon Seller University - Learn tab at top of seller dashboard.

Just to check too now that you are up and running, did you register as a business seller with hmrc and amazon ?
I know your previous threads stated you just uploaded personal ID
