How busy are you between 23rd and 2nd Jan?
This will be our first Xmas on Amazon.
I would anticipate busy boxing day though other than that i’m not sure if people will be shopping online if they are spending time with friends/family.
Thanks

As with everything else it will depend on what you sell. If you sell Christmas decorations then you are probably in for a slow couple of weeks.

Im just wondering generally.
I would expect to busier than the average seller as throws & blankets is our main line.

Christmas Eve is dead probably the lowest day of the year in sales, Christmas Day 60-75% of normal sales. Boxing Day onwards usually return to normal.

We close on 21 December and reopen on 2 January. I put all sites on holiday settings. At least with FBA there’s a steady cash flow.
When I started my business 12 years ago I stayed open and went in every day on my own. It just wasn’t worth it. A tiny trickle of orders. Now I have eleven staff and with our current volume of orders, they’ll need the rest. They all did at least 15 hours overtime this week.

Hello. I just wanted to know - Dec 24 and Dec 31 is bank holiday in UK? My first year on Amazon, just wondering - we need to ship out orders on these dates or not? In my country these dates are “red dates”, post offices are closed.

We sell electrical items (sockets, switches and circuit breakers) to contractors and the general public so Christmas is pretty dead usually as most electricians have the 2 weeks off.
