How do i add personalisation to a listing?

ive recently joined amazon from being successful on Etsy and alot of my products are personalised, i cant seem to find out how to add this option to my Amazon listings. Is it not possible on Amazon for a customer to leave a note with their order?

go to your inventory and click on the down arrow next to the edit button and there is the option to add/edit customisation

have a read of the seller university pages re customisation as they are very useful
