How to prevent being scammed by customers

I have recently made a big loss due to a customer scamming me via an A-Z Guarantee Claim which I appealed by showing proof of delivery which was a photo of the parcel being delivered and the tracking ID so Amazon can see for themselves. Amazon then chose to deny my appeal after I sent every single piece of evidence I could get my hands on. I am wanting to how I can prevent this from happening in the future as I felt useless because the customer scammed my business with false claims.

Just look at this forum and you will see dozens of similar scenarios.
Sadly, Amazon will always take the side of the customer, regardless of you providing what should be adequate proof.

Unfortunately there is only 1 way to prevent this - Dont sell on Amazon. We are all in the same boat on this one, and try as we might, there is nothing you can do about it, you just have to build a little something in to cover the cost.
