Listing a product that is a replacement of a original

hi,
i am trying to list products that are compatible . i keep getting errors saying the product is already on the amazon catalogue.A photo comes up of the item.
the issue is that allthough its the same product and looks the same the brand is from a"original" supplier.
i have many products to list and this was only the first and i could not do it.
i cannot use the same ASIN number surely because that brings up the other sellers photos.
can someone point me in the right direction plz.
