My review of the Amazon ASP STARTER program

I would like to share here my feedback on the ASP Starter program which I have been a part of for the past 6 months and which I have terminated.
I was contacted by phone by an Amazon consultant who described the program to me as a chance that few promising sellers have. Here is the promise of the program followed by my experience of these 6 months:
The Program Promise: Access to a dedicated Marketplace consultant
My reality: the consultant had 6 months of experience at Amazon and it doesn’t seem like much to me, I often felt that I knew more about different subjects than he did. The program includes a phone call every 2 weeks of only 30 minutes, which is very short, and there is no back-up for this call during the advisor’s vacation! Others exchanges are done by email but again this is insufficient with several days without answer.
Easy access to support:
The consultant can open cases for you, but it is not more efficient than when I opened my cases myself, I would even say that the average processing time on the 40 open tickets during the last 6 months was longer than before.
Advertising optimization:
Ok this is the part where I learned a little, but the results weren’t there in 6 months we weren’t really able to improve ACOS. The advisor was also unaware of the latest features recently released from the tool.
Report and analysis
I received ABC reports to see which Asins sell or not for my part I failed to exploit this automatically generated data, and the time with the advisor was too short.
The cost for 6 months: 3200 € + 0.3% of sales
My conclusion:
Unless you are a super newbie seller, the benefit / cost ratio of the program is insufficient. Most of the information and help I have received can be found for free through the email I receive regularly for optimization of advertising and to take advantage of promotions, not effective help with support either.

3200 euros. wow, that seems really crap for that.
