Power of attorney
I have been selling on AMazon for 12 years and today I noticed a warning on my account asking me for Power of Attorney ??? and they are holding my payments i=until it is verified. Does anyone know what this is and what I actually need to do or send them, I have not got a clue.

It is a legal term to nominate someone to look after and make choices re a business or individuals money / welfare if they were unable to .eg accident , illness etc I have not had any knowledge regarding online platforms But like any business it’s sensible to have back up from someone just in case

I had an Amazon request for a POA - but although the page I was directed to requested a Power of Attorney, it was clarified later by SS that they just wanted an HMRC document with the UTR number on it.
It’s possible that @Winston can clarify if that’s needed in your case also
