Received 98 Restricted Product Policy Violations
Hello All, looking for a bit of help/ advice. This past week have recieved 98 policy restricted product policy violations. All items were work gloves (we sell a lot of gloves). Looking at the items in question they pretty much all contain either the word “nitrile”, “latex” or “rubber”. All listings have been live on Amazon well before the virus started some have been live for over 6 years. I have not “price gouged” any listings either and prices have not been amended on the listings for months.
Our account health has now been severley affected by this, and has resulted in a tempoary loss of the buy box, and seller support being as helpful as ever, cannot tell me if this will be for a day, month, etc.
My question is how can I quickly resolve and get this strikes removed from our account? I don’t believe any of the items are restricted items and cannot see anything within Amazon policies which would suggest they are, I believe an Amazon bot has removed them all in error. I have opened a case with Amazon but have had no reply and could do with some guidance.
Thanks
Andy

You will be told that new and more stringent selling rules have been implemented on certain products and at that point you will wonder why those rules were not communicated to existing sellers of these products and time given to implement the changes needed rather than hitting sellers with violations that they knew nothing about on products they have been selling since way before covid-19. The cynic in me says that its a huge selling opportunity on certain products and someone doesn’t want to share that opportunity with others.

We had 2 mugs pulled as “restricted” that were medical themed. We’ve been selling the designs for over 5 years.

Massive issue with Amazon right now, the bots used to pull these listings have their tolerance setting too low/high. So anything with glove, mask etc is being pulled.
When you open a case, you end up going round in circles, as usual. Come one Amazon sort this stuff out, you’ve been making these mistakes for years, just put a little effort in and fix it.

It’s the same for “listing deactivated for potential pricing error” going crazy the past week. No high prices at all, not a single one. But Amazon are doing this to 100’s of our listings. We haven’t even edited the prices within the past 6 months.
Amazon are obvioulsy trying to drive the prices down with these price fixing tactics.

Received two violations for having rubber gloves in my inventory not even for sale on amazon and haven’t been for sale for around five years Amazons dealing with this is shambolic at best ! Getting nowhere with them .
