Retained monies?
Unbelievable! I am being sent £600 while over a £1,000 is being retained by Amazon to ensure I supply the goods - good excuse, but that is all it is. The interest earned by retaining OUR monies is both unfair and unethical profiteering. I have a 100% sales/delivery rating yet they still retain MY money even though the customers have been in possession of their order for weeks. Let’s call a spade a spade, the withholding is purely to fund another yacht. In addition WHY does it take 5 days + to receive monies when PayPal takes 30 seconds, more profiteering! Probably taking £10 commission for a £50 sale will only fund 10 yacht hands.

I believe I read somewhere that no interest can be made on account reserve funds

Sorry this post will be unpopular but as frustrating as it is, you have to look at the other side of it too
Whilst it’s annoying amazon place the reserve and then take 4 days to send it to your account, do you have suppliers who give you 30 day credit - selling goods before you’ve paid for them.
Or staff, do you pay them at the end of each day they work - or a month in arrears
The staff wages and the money owed to suppliers is sitting in your bank account

Just looked this up again
