Should I sell on 'Handmade'?

I’m just about to finish setting up my Shop and put up my first listing (Handmade Mugs…not POD or Drop shipping) and have had my Handmade Shop Approved.

I’m not entirely sure i fully understand the Pro’s/Cons of Handmade:

Do ‘Handmade’ listings get the same level of Traffic as ‘Generic’ listings? I.E is it a niche area of Amazon, or do all listings make their way into the ‘Mainstream’ Searches?

Is there any advantage to listing the item twice? Once with Handmade, and once with a ‘Normal’ Seller account?

Are there any disadvantages to a Handmade account, or a reason why a seller of Handcrafted products might choose to just sell from a ‘Normal’ Seller account?

TIA for any support!

Do not list the same product on handmade and normal Amazon. It’s against the rules.
If you use handmade you don’t pay the 30.00 a month professional fees.
I find handmade can be slow.
You don’t have to worry about other sellers being in your listings on handmade.
