Signature required for proof?
Must you have a signature to prove delivery of the item? I ask because I lost a recent A-Z claim the tracking number I had said delivered but Amazon sided with the buyer so I’m £67 down and also a camera down!

Depends, on low value items, 2D RM scan can be amazon funded. But high value items yes signature is required as Amazon rarely fund them.

Amazon insist on a signature for A-Z claims. Proof of delivery such as the Royal Mail 2D barcode scanning isnt enough, and they will still take the funds from your account if this is all you have unfortunately!

Your only option now is to try to recover your monies through the legal system if you’re satisfied they have your goods.

A-Z claims valued under £50 can be often successfully defended with just tracking but for more expensive items like yours, you will need a signature confirmation on delivery.

Hopefully, to ease the pain, you are not £67 AND a camera down, but just one or the other, unless your outgoing shipping cost was £67 !

Any thing over 50 quid really should be going out by Special Delivery or the equivelent that way a signature would be asked for.

I am a little confused with your post. You said tracking number says delivered but the customer raised an A-Z claim alleging to have not been delivered? Raise a claim with your courier if this is the case.
I assume you mean tracked and no signature required? or the 2D barcode.
