UPC doesn't match existing Amazon listing

I have some boxed items and would like to use the manufacturers bar code (UPC) on the box. However these do not match the ones on the same items currently listed by Amazon. If I send them in to FBA with the bar code they currently have will this cause problems?

Do you mean boxed with, say, a dozen individual widgets inside? If so, the UPC should be for the whole boxful, not the individual widgets that you would be selling singly - they should have a different code
