Upgrade to professional
Hi!
I upgraded my European Amazon seller account to professional recently and thought that would automatically upgrade the US based account as well.
Does anybody have more insight?
Do you need to pay twice or did I make a mistake while signing up?

No, you need to pay for each market place. There are various market places where you need to sign up separately, such as Europe, North America, Mexico, Japan etc. The US, for example is Amazon.com and requires separate registration.
