Why are units moved from 'reserved inventory' to 'unexpected items'?

We sent 60 units to Amazon, in one case. First it was listed under the correct ASIN as ‘reserved’. Then suddenly got moved to ‘Stranded inventory/unexpected item’ with a new ASIN. Seller support has been useless and claims we supplied the wrong ASIN (I have sent screenshots to prove that’s untrue, they flat out ignored that) and the wrong quantity (also untrue, as under unexpected item the quantity they list is 60).
I don’t want to create a new listing for fear of losing our reviews. Does anyone have experience with this, is there anything else I can do expect remove the items and try again?
Thanks

Did you create the listing? If yes, where did you obtain the product identifier (EAN/ UPC)?
