New to selling, can anyone help?
Hi guys
I have just signed up to selling on Amazon as I sell a few things on Ebay and they sell well enough through that platform.
I didn’t realise what would be the process in selling an item on Amazon would be and I want to make sure I am doing it right as there doesn’t seem to be a guide or any help available.
I have a product that is also being sold on Amazon, I can sell it much cheaper than the other seller as I buy in large volume and get a better price, but I cannot list it, I can only what seems to add onto there sales and be in a small box that says “New from” ???
How do I get my own page with my product on where I have an add to cart button ??
I am sorry if I am missing something massively obvious and it can be done. I can see other sellers have there own page for the same product but worded differently and it is under different categories.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

Selling on Amazon is a whole different ball-game to ebay, and lots of complex policies etc.
There is help - Amazon’s own Seller University - link at bottom of your seller homepage - everything you need to know.

On the homepage of Seller Central there should be a large box pointing to Seller University which covers everything you need to get started selling on Amazon. Best to start there.
As for your other question, ebay and Amazon work very differently. On Amazon anyone selling the exact same product must share the same page - quite different from ebay where you get your own.

On Amazon ALL sellers of the exact same product are on the same page - it is a catalogue system.
You only get your own page if your item is unique, has it’s own barcode etc

You need to read through Seller University - tells you everything you need to know but its a lot to take in.
You dont get your own page on here if the item is already listed - you add yourself to the listing as a seller SO LONG as the item is identical in every way. The Buy Box facility wont be available to you for 90 days - as a new seller.
You may need to get approval in the category your product is in first.
