FBA to FBM Shipping
Hi,
We are looking at converting from FBA to FBM. We are functioning business already and ship items from our website using Royal Mail and bigger items ParcelForce.
We couldn’t see any options to use ParcelForce when using FBM. Obviously heavier items won’t go Royal Mail - can anyone help with this?

Amazon only gives a few selected couriers as options through their buy shipping. You can buy your shipping outside of Amazon if you don’t want to use the ones available or get better rates elsewhere etc. Just be sure to read the VTR policy so that you know how to properly record things.

Basically you can use whichever carrier you want, the big thing is making sure you confirm shipment correctly so that it is recorded correctly for VTR. You can see from the VTR policy/FAQs which carriers are integrated with Amazon.

So, to clarify - we can still use FBM and send parcels directly to customers via royal mail and Parcelforce? (The current couriers we use to send parcels to customers that buy from our own website)

Thanks so much for your help. I just have a couple more questions that I can’t seem to find the answers to on Amazon. Can we send orders directly to customers via FBM? Or does it go to an Amazon depot? As mentioned above, we currently use Royal Mail and have a franking machine that prints off the shipping label and the same with Parcel Force - we print the label here and then Parcel Force collect from us daily - Can we still do that with FBM when customers place orders?

How do I setup our account settings to send parcels by FBM via Royal Mail and Parcelforce? A Youtube video directed me to the automated preferences part
