No response fro Amazon
I opened a new account with Amazon at the beginning of June. Within a week my account was hacked and they have suspended my account so I haven’t been able to sell anything. The hacker put laptops for sale on Amazon.de, a site which I didn’t sign up for, and one got sold and all they kept saying was they wanted the invoices for the laptops, which I didn’t have. All the emails they sent were in German, which I had to translate as I didn’t understand. I have sent numerous emails asking what is happening but they don’t reply, I’ve rung and they started an investigation into a “compromised account” but they still are not answering me to what is going on. They are now going to charge me £30 for doing nothing and I can’t sell anything due to suspension.
Has anyone else have this problem or can advise me what to do?
I am getting very frustrated!!

Sorry to hear this.
Unfortunately, you fell victim of the most obvious scam doing the rounds, where you are sent a message regarding a German order and you were asked to remove a word from the link before pasting it into your browser.
Firstly, if you can get into your account, go to your settings and downgrade to an individual account instead of a pro account. At least, this way you will stop further £30 charges.
Then, once it all settles down, you can ask seller support for a refund if you haven’t sold anything yourself. But it won’t be quick. Don;t be tempted to start a new account from scratch.
Good luck.

Just to add to what Rugsy said, if you would like to get the suspension lifted, I would advise you to post the suspension notice here to see if someone can help you.
It looks like you were suspended for authenticity issues, since they asked you to provide invoices for the laptops.
