How to total shpping costs over the tax year
I now use Amazon's Buy Shipping.
I will need a total cost of shipping in the tax year April 2023 to April 2024.
I can't see any way of getting this total apart from adding up the figure give at each disbursement. Can anyone help?

I don't think you can get it as a total, though may have missed that option ? (and if you can would love to know how !) - I think you'll need to add them up yourself. Go to menu (top left) - payments - Transaction View - transaction type - delivery labels purchased through Amazon - then add each one up

Thanks Jilly
Typical Amazon - lots of new whizzy things we didn't need BUT unable to total anything!

Use the reports in Report Repository
https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/payments/reports-repository
You can download a transaction report, load into excel and filter to just get the delivery label purchases
You can also use the summary report as well and it should show a total on there for delivery labels purchased.

I went to the address you gave and it gave me the option to download a csv file for one month.
This opened in a spreadsheet but there was no aggregate for bought Shipping as such. There was a column for Selling Fees and another column for Other.
Is the latter actually the one for Shipping Fees? If it is I can cope!

Yes it is in the other column. Buy Shipping fees always appear in the other column.
One of the other columns should have a description of what the line refers to. I am not near a PC at the moment so can't tell you which column it is.

For me the "Merchant Buy Shipping Label" supplied by "Gratton PLC" ones are the shipping costs bought through Amazon and the "Merchant VAT Invoice" are seller fees.
Not sure if this helps but how I struggled my way through working out how much I was spending buying shipping through Amazon.
Would love to know if I'm missing the obvious and simple way to do this.

No need to get out your calculator as THE REPORTS YOU NEED ARE AVAILABLE ON SELLER CENTRAL ....
From drop down menu in Seller Central Select Payments -> Reports Repository. From there you can select two types of Transaction Report for any date range ...
A Transaction Report which details EVERY payment received or made during the selected date range (including shipping purchased via Amazon) which you can then download as a csv file and then import into Excel and sum the relevant columns OR
A Summary Report which you can download in pdf format which gives you the TOTAL payments received or made during the selected date range (again including shipping purchased via Amazon).
... if you're not VAT registered then these are the only Amazon reports you should ever need for Tax purposes as they include all the required information as they also include sales, selling fees etc
