Amazon FBA shipping charges getting EXTORTIONATE
Getting pretty hacked off with amazon in general. No seller help available at all it seems. Just checked my FBA postage costs and being charged postage costs of £3.37 to ship a 4" roll of hessian to a customer. Why is amazon charging such high fees when it only costs us £2.85 to send royal mail or £2.95 Evri?
Also anyway of getting amazon to combine their postage costs in settings also?
Cannot bring myself to contact their seller help as value my sanity.

Well for one, Amazon PICK, PACK and DELIVER your item, usually with next day delivery, and full tracking, with all the protections that come with it, they are also the customer service provider for any issues, will handle the returns, refunds, and restocking of your products etc.
Royal mail will deliver, for £2.85 in a week if you are lucky (going by my latest information) and Evri - are you having a laugh?

Aside from what @Dedez has written above, have you actually checked that the fees are correct?
Are the dimensions/weight right on the listing?
And to agree, you can actually combine postage costs, by selling in multiples.
ie. it’s slight cheaper when you sell two or more.

I’ve just checked your listing as i thought maybe it had shifted to dimensional weight, but it’s in the £2.81 band and the VAT takes it to £3.37. You could consider whether you’d benefit from exempting yourself from Amazon’s VAT.

Enroll your product inn SNL then amazon not charge such amount.
