My account has been suspended due to inactivity.

Hello, my account has been suspended due to inactivity. I submitted my business license and ID photo on the "Seller Identity" page, but it has been a week and is still in the "under review" status. The account functions are currently frozen, and I am unable to create SKUs and shipments. I have contacted customer service, but they have replied that they do not have the authority to review the team. What can we do now to expedite the review process?

Hello @Seller_Dl3UP9ntLR7Tt,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention through the Forums. I can see how this situation may be confusing for you. Making sure everything is complete in your store set up can be a bit daunting.

I will try and provide some general guidance. For greater detail concerning your specific situation, please provide an ASIN, Case ID or Performance Notification. With that information and the help from an internal team, I am able to research in greater detail.

What I might suggest you do, just to confirm everything has been entered as needed:

From your Seller Central:

  • Click the settings wheel, top right corner
  • Click Account Info
  • Look on the left side panel, is there anything that has a red dot?

If so, this is where you need to complete the information.

When your account has been dormant for some time, you are going to be prompted to verify who you are again. This may look like steps you may have taken when you first created your account. If you have the red dot by business address, you may need to sign for a post card to be sent to confirm your address. This would be like the Inform Act requirements. See: About the INFORM Consumers Act

Please let me know if you are still under review. Please review: Seller Identity Verification

If you do need additional assistance, please do provide an ASIN, Case ID or Performance Notification.

Also, if you are a NEW Seller, make use of Seller University, this will provide all the information you need to be aware of all Amazon policies.

I look forward to your response. Thank you for reaching out on the Forums.
