Now blind but amazon won't phone me. help
My father is a seller who is now blind. He wants to close his account but also get the £100 amazon owes him. Even phoning support we keep getting directed to Amazon seller support who say he can’t close because there is a balance on his account. All we want is for a compassionate human assistant being to talk him through this. Help please!!

I would guess you would need to log into his account and do a manual disbursement if the funds are available, then once the money has been received you can close the account.
I assume that you have removed stock of any listings etc and there is no stock in FBA?

To be honest I wouldn’t worry about closing the account I would just leave it Dormant. If you close the account you may have to wait 90 days for any money due.
As @Dedez said can’t you just do a manual disbursement and get the money out. Have you checked the bank account and account details are all verified to allow you to withdraw money. Money is normally paid out every 14 days so if the account has not been used for a while I wouldn’t expect any money to be left on the account.
