UK KYC Verification taking an odd turn?
My company is Canadian and I have an active account in North America for over a year, but its been a year of back and forth with the UK verification team and it's becoming more like a witch hunt and a personal bias than normal process. Below my reasons you can judge for yourself:
1- They ask for legal company documentation which I provide right away then they accept them but request other documentation that they previously had not problem with or new, which I provide then they request the same documentation I provided earlier saying it's not sufficient, like an endless loop of go fitch. Imagine this has been going on for a year.
2- Most recently they sent me a request to provide my proof of personal citizenship saying that my passport (Canadian) does not meet their citizenship verification requirements. This doesen't make sense below is the requirements which a copy of the Canadian passports meet all of them:
-- The document must be a copy of a government-issued ID document with a photo.
-- The document must be not be expired.
-- The document must contain full name, date of birth, place of birth, and country of citizenship.
-- The document must contain an ID number and the expiration date.
-- The document must be signed.
-- Ensure the information in the document matches the information in your Seller Central account.
At this point any logical person would assume some bias and prejudise, but I am taking the high road most likely something broken in their system. Any advice?
