Used sold as new

I sell posters with artwork on that we own the copyright to. A customer messaged me with a complaint that one of the posters was creased. I apologised and shipped a new one. Sometimes the posters get creases when we roll them into tubes - particularly when they are dark colours.

I subsequently received a complaint from Amazon about selling Used items as New. I have provided the manufacturer receipts for purchase of the posters from the old printers we got that batch from, the new printers we now use, and an action plan of how we are now outsourcing packaging to an FBA specialist. Amazon have rejected the appeal and have deactivated the listing.

I can live with this, we can sell that design elsewhere, but they’ve also mentioned that they could deactivate our sellers account, over one badly-packaged poster that we replaced anyway.

Any ideas?

Explain you have improved your packaging and as its an in house product, send them an invoice from your manufacturing department to your sales department
