DASHBOARD METRICS

Does anyone else have any issues with the dashboard metrics for sales and balances.

For example, if i sell £250 in sales so far today in the top left box, this does not filter into total balance, infact i can sell a few hundred a day and our total balance can only go up for example £30

how is this? how can we see what is happening with our sales and business correctly ?
