SnL Fee Error on Business Orders

Hi all

I have just been running some spot checks on our FBA fees and found an anomaly and wondered if anyone knew anything about it

I have orders the same SKU - enrolled in SnL ( I have double-checked) and on one order I have been charged FBA fees of 86p and on the other order I have been charged £1.71 - so the equivalent of not being enrolled in SnL

The only difference in orders is the one is a business customer - I have checked other products and the same thing is happening.

Any one else have this issue? TIA

I have just checked a Small and Light business FBA order that went out yesterday.

The customer ordered 4 units, 2 at 65p fulfilment fee and 2 at 86p fulfilment fee.

Amazon charged a total of £3.00 for the fulfilment element…actually was 2p less than it should be.

I don’t think it is a business customer causing an issue…have you checked to make sure your dimensions/weights are still correct?

ThanksI have checked and the dimensions are all correct - all single order items and I can’t usually see straight away as they are business customers that are invoiced.

Yes all UK ordes - and not just the one products all of my small and light

No business pricing - but they are stil the same SKU so that should not affect FBA fee - I have found a few more from about a monnth ago - so just as the FBA increase was added I think

Good idea - I have both and checked and they are the same. I ahve raised the case with Amazon and they have reverted to a specialist - but I know this is code for keep waiting no one will actualy answer this case!

An update - I did get a reply and apparently it is right

It was found that when the Small and Light products are sold to customers with standard Amazon accounts, the FBA fee charged is as per the Small and Light rate card. However, when same products are sold to customers with business accounts, the standard FBA fee schedule applies to business orders fulfilled by Amazon.

Therefore, please be assured that the fee charged on Small and Light products sold to business customers is correct as per Amazon’s “Selling on Amazon Business fee schedule” policy. For more information, please refer to the policy help page given below:
https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/help/hub/reference/G201762480

I have looked through the help link and can’t see that saying that at all - has anyone ever heard of this?

I have gone back and asked them to link to the exact part of the schedule that says this

Have you enrolled in the immediate payment of business orders service at 1% of value, so its paid immediately instead of 45 days, maybe have something to do with it?

I once had a similar issue to this and it was because my products for the particular sku had the option for it to go onto EFN. Even though the product was based in the UK and sold from a UK fulfillment centre, I found that the buyer had bought my product through the French Amazon marketplace so I was charged the EFN price.
