Amazon Shipping Denied A to Z Claim
My A to Z Claim was denied for lost UPS package, when I purchase 2nd day UPS Label from Amazon Shipping, their policy stated that we are protected from negative, a to z claim and lost packages. Its all lies, Amazon customer service is telling me to filed a claim with UPS myself when its Amazon account, Not only did i lost money on the shipping but i got hit with A to Z defect. This is just ridiculous, Getting no help from Amazon customer service, just giving me the run around. Anybody experiencing this?

Does the tracking also show a scan of the carrier taking possession of it on or before the ship-by date on the order? You need that to be covered.

what was the reason given for denial in the notice you got back?

Hi @Seller_d3z0bJ98p8neR,
Dominic from Amazon here, happy to help! Can you please provide me with a case ID? I would like to review on my side and see what we can do.
Best,
Dominic

You are covered as long as you shipped the package on-time.
What was the "SHIP BY DATE" on the order?

You are NOT the only seller complaining about this. Apparently both UPS and USPS labels purchased from Amazon doesn't properly time stamp when they pick it up - and only time stamps delivery and people have been losing A-Z cases due to being accused of shipping late (because of lack of time proper stamp!) Sounds like an inside job to steal $$$ from vendors.

Seems they have been denying claims for lost in transit we had a few they only fund for the lost after it was delivered to customer.

Not only are you absolutely, 100% INCORRECT, but all you needed to do was track one of your own outgoing orders AFTER you print the label but BEFORE the package is scanned by the Carrier to see that you are, in fact, incorrect.
IF you had done this simple test before posting your rather insulting and snide reply would WOULD have seen that
Is unquestionably the truth when tracked on Amazon.
The words "Label Created" do not EVER appear on an Amazon Track of an Amazon order. Ever.
I believe you are conflating an Amazon Track of the package vs. the Carrier website track of the package. It is only on THOSE websites that the words "Label Created" actually appear.
And, just an F.Y.I., even the Carrier websites do NOT automatically display the transfer of possession immediately after the First Scan.
UPS is the fastest to post the Initial Scan. USPS and FedEx do not display the First Scan until AFTER they close at 5:00 pm, when the daily info is uploaded.
Additionally, the Amazon tracking system is notorious in being incomplete with their own package tracking, and OFTEN misses the Initial Scan. This is undoubtedly why so many A-Z Claims are initially and incorrectly found in the Buyer's favor (but probably NOT with this particular OP).
Whenever I receive an A-Z Claim I always respond immediately, even though Amazon tells me to wait while they investigate. Instead, I track the package on the carrier website, and reply back to Amazon with the Full Order Details and the Carrier tracking history. I find this to be the most successful way to deal with a Claim.
Now for some logical assumptions: I find it interesting that the OP posted the tracking history but was silent as to the scheduled "Ship-By" window. In the absence of the "Ship-By" Window data, it could be assumed that the package did indeed ship "Late".
To begin with, Amazon does NOT schedule a shipping day on 12/25, ever.
Secondly, the OP stated they purchased 2nd Day Air shipping, which they would NOT have to do IF the package had indeed shipped "On-Time"
It seems VERY likely that the Claim was Seller-Funded because the Seller shipped "Out of Amazon Policy" to be covered form an A-Z Claim arising from any Problem with Delivery, and NOT because
It seems to me to be another Seller who shipped "Out of Policy" and YET insists that they receive an "Exception" to the rules.
The Policy is SO easy to follow. If you don't, it is ONLY your OWN fault, not Amazon's.
I got your back, @Seller_8LDS13Dwga70G.
Please take the time to make sure you are correct before insulting a fellow Seller, @Seller_SJRMV3s4mNrFA. We all are here to help each other.

IF you shipped according to Amazon Policy, and Lost the Claims for the above reason, then you need to APPEAL.
The Policy very clearly states you are protected against ANY PROBLEM WITH DELIVERY.
Most carrier websites will display the package as still "En-Route" even when it is obviously long-since past due to be delivered. While the package still displays as In-Transit, the Amazon Policy protects the Seller from "Any Problems with Delivery".
While I have never seen it myself, it is possible that a package can be "Officially" (in writing) declared "Lost" by either the Carrier, or, I suppose, Amazon itself. In that case, I suppose it is possible that if a package is "Officially" declared "Lost in transit" by the Carrier or Amazon, that Amazon would consider the Seller would be Refunded by the Shipping Insurance (the amount entered into the "Declared Value" box when shipped), and would therefore Refund the Buyer This is why I always include the Full actual postage paid in the "Declared value", so as to be refunded that amount as well.
Once again, it would take either the Carrier or Amazon to "Officially" declare the package "Lost", and at that time, it WOULD be the Seller's responsibility to Refund the Buyer In-Full and file a Claim with the Insurance Company (U-PIC if USPS, UPS for UPS, etc.). Failure for the Seller to do this COULD certainly be reason to Lose an A-Z Claim for INR.
But, unless "Officially" (in writing) declared "Lost" by the Carrier or Amazon, APPEAL the Claim (as long as you shipped within Policy) and you SHOULD "Win".
Good Luck.

IF you were a Lawyer, you would certainly understand that Amazon is NOT a court of Law, Amazon is a private Business, and NO ONE is "Forcing" YOU to do business with Amazon , either as a Seller or as a Buyer.
However, IF you choose to do Business with Amazon, you MUST adhere to Amazon Policy.
Ironically, the balance of your tirade WOULD actually be "Thrown Out" by a Judge (Stricken from the record is the correct term), as it is NOT pertinent to the issue at hand.
Nowhere in the Amazon Seller Protection Policy is the "Delivery Date" mentioned. In order to quality for Protection, the Seller MUST follow the Policy.
Therefore ALL of your testimony is NOT relevant to the matter at hand before the court.
The Court finds In Favor of Amazon and against the Plaintiff.

You need to make sure the info you submit for the claim includes the tracking number and not just the time of delivery, but the actual city must show as well. Send them a detailed tracking and proof of delivery when you appeal the descision
