Basically, Yes, but it has to be EXACTLY the same product, including any brand name. Unfortunately, Amazon allow sellers to buy an unbranded (generic) product and apply their own “brand” to it. Once that seller lists it as “Bloggs’ super-widget”, instead of just plain “super-widget”, no-one else can sell on that listing. They have to stick to the listing for plain “super-widget”, if there is one. So the first rule is, does your product have an EAN (European Article Number - a 13 digit barcode) or a similar product ID barcode on it? If so, search the catalogue for that barcode and if you are absolutely sure that everything matches, you can add your offer to it. If not, you may have to create your own listing as you do on eBay, but be aware that once you do that, it is no longer your exclusive listing but Amazon’s and any other seller with EXACTLY the same product can join the listing
You need to look at Amazon’s own Seller University videos and other advice for new sellers - link at the bottom of your seller page. Go through it all more than once if you have to, to make sure you understand it all

If you are creating your own product (I buy bulk lots of goods from a wholesaler, break it down and add my own info leaflet) it might be worth considering registering you ‘brand’ (are you UK?). I did this last year and it cost £170, but I get to add that little R mark next to my company name and have registered that brand with Amazon.
Before all my listings were ‘generic’ and anyone can list under them, but now I am the brand (and manufacturer) and AFAIK I’m not supplying to anyone else I still have a GTN exemption so don’t have barcodes as I’m cottage-industry sized and it’s an unnecessary expense.
You don’t need to, and it is a bit of extra paperwork, but something to think on. I don’t think you can change a listing from generic to your brand retrospectively so I’ve only added branding to new listings - or I’d lose the product feedbacks and history.
Good luck. I’ve been selling on here for 18 months (also sell on Etsy) and there was a lot to learn. The forums have been a great place to learn about the pitfalls!

Hello
Welcome to this platform (Amazon)
I used to sell on eBay also and I was facing the same confusion as you. Amazon is way different from eBay and more complicated. Here you have to follow a lo of rules during your journey here. It might be a little frustrating for you but you will get used.
Regarding to selling things here on Amazon, you need to sell a product in catalogue which is same as yours but sometimes you won’t be able as there a lot of brands here that you might get blocked as you should have permission to sell with them.
The only thing is to watch YouTube videos that might help you and start a create a personal listing if so. You need barcodes to buy which I would suggest ( Barcodes Mania) to buy them from.
Watch YouTube videos that’s how you will learn.
Good luck

I agree with @JillyB1
Do not follow the you tube videos and buy EAN’s from anywhere but GS1.
It’s bad advice and will more than likely get you into trouble.
