Amazon denies my invoices from the authorized distributor- updated
Can a MOD please tell me why my invoice is being denied?? The invoice I provided is from an authorized wholesale distributor and I was told at first by amazon, the denial was because the invoice is a retail receipt, and that certainly is not the case its a wholesale distributor invoice. I have been reapplying and now I keep getting a generic reply saying that "We evaluated the information you provided, but it did not pass our review." I am asking for help because the products I have purchased to be ungated are 300 purchased per brand. I followed the requirements of the brand application and now I am being brushed off as if my concerns are meaningless. Can a MOD please address my concerns, case numbers are 17934825351 and 179348218.
Best regards,
Ms. G

"Do you have written authorization or approval from the brand or this company to list and or sell the products from their company? A lot of companies will authorize a supplier, but in their terms of use, you are not authorized to distribute the materials from the site they were sourced from. These suppliers are typically licensed and authorized for sale to the end consumer, no resale. I would suggest reviewing your suppliers terms of use or terms of service and work with the brand itself to obtain a letter of authorization as this will be required at this point to show proof you are an authorized distributor for the concerned brand. So you are additionally aware, if your supplier tries to issue you a letter of authorization, it will not be accepted. They will only accept an LOA if issued by the brand or rights owner only."

So you are saying Amazon is NOT able to recognize the difference between a receipt and an invoice?
"Ungated" by Amazon doesn't mean that you are allowed to sell it on Amazon. Ungated means that Amazon allows you to sell this brand on Amazon ASSUMING that you did your paperwork and that you can provide:
1. A "Letter of Authorization" from the brand owner allowing you to sell their brand on Amazon.
2. INVOICE (not receipt) from an authorized distributor. An invoice is a document with your name and address, exactly how you registered it in your seller account under "Legal Entity" and "Official Registered Address". And an authorized distributor is a company authorized by the brand owner. If you buy on the WEBSITE of a brand, you get a receipt and not an invoice.
In case you can't, Amazon will not let you sell this brand.
Try on other platforms.

It is a known issue that Amazon currently is denying valid invoices from valid distributors I doubt the mods will chime in (but I will tag them for you again) since they rarely take on systemic problems that could jeopardize their jobs. Could you post a copy of the invoice in question and redact all sensitive information.
The LOA is a bit of a head fake; it is true that some brands use them, but most larger ones do not, this is exactly why they use distributors.
Amazon has gone way to far with scrutinizing invoices, it is to the point now where it is EXTREMELY UNCLEAR what a valid invoice is to them. Amazon views to supply chain in a very simplified fashion, it makes it easier for them to audit; the reality is much more complex and causes many false positives.

Greetings @Seller_EVBFwGHOqOm8N,
I'm sorry you are having this difficulty with your application. I've reviewed your case and at this time the determination form the review team appears to be final. I recommend you reach out to your distributor and the Brand to try to determine why this specific distributor is being identified instead as a retail establishment or unaccepted supplier.
Thank you for your understanding.
