Amazon UK site should not restrict FBM listing to win the Buybox

Hi,During the outbreak of COVID-19,Amazon’s UK site should not restrict FBM listing to get the buy box,but only let FBA listing to get the buybox,we think it’s unfair, so hope that Amazon UK site can cancel the restriction the FBM listing to get the buybox.

lol!
Never mind the fact that Amazon are struggling to cope with the sheer volume of deliveries.
You want them to take more on, just because it suits you? Really?

I cannot believe what I am reading ! You think it is unfair ? - obviously you sell via FBA.
Do you not think it is unfair for FBM sellers to not get it, ever, outwith the current crisis. ?

I wish they would abolish the buybox completely.

All FBA sellers are free to add FBM listings.
Be proactive instead of complaining. Think outside the box, postage from China is cheap, so it should not be a problem for you!

With respect I doesn’t matter what You think. It’s Amazons platform and you asked to join it.
If you don’t like it there are other sites out there for you to use.
The “Close My Account” button is located under Settings.

Unlike eBay who ask are you sure you want to close your account. Amazon just wave you goodbye.
As I said The “Close My Account” button is located under Settings, If you don’t like the way Amazon do thinks feel free to use it

On the german site, we experience the opposite:
While we and Amazon both have plenty of (FBA) stock, our FBM offer gets the buybox. However this is not valid for all of our items, it’s rather unpredictable.
Probably depending on the location where the stock is and how much load on the fulfilment center they currently have.

Maybe at all times fbm should get the buy box if the price is lower and/or the handling time is better… unless the customer is a prime customer and would not need to spend £20 for free delivery.

That would be fair as opposed to the unfair competition (in normal times) there is now…
