No idea how to solve this
Hello
I am confused by the following situation and looking for some advice. I’m selling a product that is designed and supplied by me - no one else is selling it on amazon. Its now on the first page for its sub category.
The same product also works with another piece of hardware than the one I am currently selling it for. In this case do I want to make a new ASIN and sell it for the other piece of hardware? Opposed to creating a variant?

Sorry to check
For example - a usb charger compatible for Samsung phones as well as iPhone tablets ?!
If so, it’s still the same product so no need for duplicate listings, but instead, extra detail in title and keywords so that buyers can see your product is compatible with the 2 different pieces of hardware
Apologies if I’ve misunderstood

could you make it in a different colour for the 2nd usage?
even though it is the same product - one colour for “samsung” and one colour for “Iphone”

I’m still a bit unclear what you mean, will they get the exact same item whichever brand they want it to be compatible with or do they need to specify which one they want?

If it is the same product that is compatible with two different pieces of hardware this just goes in your title, description and keywords.
You don’t create a second product if it is exactly the same product as this is against Amazon policy.
