VAT Registration for non UK Resident

Hey Everyone

My Company is registered outside of the UK as I don’t live in there, I am planning to import products from China to the UK and storing my inventory at the Amazon Fulfillment Center.

Question 1: Should I be VAT registered in the UK, or in my own country?
Question 2: At which point exactly do I need to be VAT registered?
Question 3: Please guide me towards the best way to get this done.
