Branding a Generic Product for FBA
Hi
One of my products is a marker for whiteboards. I buy it from factory in China. I am the only seller of this Asin (so far) and it is a very good selling item.
Question is - If i get the factory to put my business name on the marker, does that give me any protection from anyone piggy backing the listing?
Any advise would be appreciated.

I will have a go at answering this, but will stand to be corrected.You can and it will to a certain extent but to be sure (well as sure as you can be) you should obtain a trademark and register with with brand registry. Takes some time I know, but will offer you better protection.

If i get this TM, and then another seller comes along, piggy backs the listing but the marker they send out is a different generic one, (not the same even without my name on the product).
Is this allowed, would i have any cause for a complaint to Amazon
