Brand Support Useless

I have a product which I created and listed in 2016 which has suddenly reverted to it’s original title from back then on the German marketplace.

Seller Support claim they don’t have permission to amend the title because it’s brand registered and brand registry close every call I open with the same cut-n-pasted response:

“The attribute you have requested updates on has already been claimed by another representative of the brand the ASIN is currently listed under. We are unable to make updates per your request; instead, we recommend that you reach out to the account of the winning contributor in order to agree on the changes.”

Six calls they’ve closed, each time with me explaining that it’s impossible for anyone else to be the winning contributor as I own the brand and am the only seller, but the low level people at first line brand support simply see an answer in the knowledge base, cut-n-paste it and quickly close the call and you can’t reopen calls they close. They won’t even tell me who they think this “winning contributor” is, and I am listed as the only seller on the listing.

Does anyone have any advice on a way forward as right now I’m tearing my hair out, there seems no way through this brick wall of low-level brand support idiocy.

I don’t have a dedicated Amazon Account Manager but maybe that’s what I need and if so how do I go about requesting one?

Dan

This is one of the reasons we’ve never bothered with brand registry…

You don’t, it’s by invite only.
We used to have one… for about 6 months, then we were told that we were growing too quickly so we no longer have one.
We were also given a “account manager” for SFP (we were among the first to sign up for it), same deal. they lasted 3 days.
