Nice.
They started doing this last year, but it only worked for a couple of days. Let’s hope it’s here to stay this time.
I wish the little map was zoomable.

Looks like it’s only in certain areas

Hi,
Is there any link or page you could reference about this ? Do you need an account, app or anything else, or can any customer use this facility ?
Thanks !

Absolutely it helps, in every way. Thank you very much for sharing this information. I’ve just checked a few of them and they work equally well with both signed for services and standard postal ID (normal 1st or 2nd class). This now has two features of interest:
The first feature of interest is; it conclusively proves to a customer that the item has been delivered exactly where Royal Mail say it has been delivered
But the second (and most important) feature of interest is; this should also help to prove any falsehoods when it comes to A-Z claims

THANK YOU !
I’ve actually just gone back to some items I bought postage through the RM website as a " personal " or " non account " customer, and yep, the map is available on them. This was for both small parcels and large letters.
Thanks !

Just to add, I am also seeing these map details on older orders from 2020, it seems they have always stored this data but never shown it till now

This is a trial for the month of March only. My company made the suggestion last year to do this, they trialled it for a brief period last year and ironed out some issues, now they are trying it again for 4 weeks.
