Selling to UK from Europe
Hello.
I want to understand if I must register for a UK VAT. I want to sell products on Amazon UK, and I will ship all my products to UK customers (FBM). So the products will be sent to the UK from Europe.
I checked the VAT Handbook that Amazon provides to the sellers, and there is this information:
Sellers registered on Amazon and selling to customers within the UK.
You are required to be VAT registered in the UK if:
3. You are a Seller established in one EU country selling and moving goods to consumers based in the UK,
and your total yearly sales to UK consumers exceed £70,000.
If I understand correctly, then I don't need to register for UK VAT because I am a seller from Europe, and I will be selling and shipping goods by myself, and my yearly sales don't exceed £70,000.
Also, if it helps, I am registered as a VAT payer in my country. But I don't have OSS because I haven't reached 10,000 Euros in Europe yet.

Hello @Seller_sexqGo5yopriQ,
Thanks for posting. Are you currently registered as a VAT payer in your country of operation?
